Mark Sabbides has worked his way to the Pro ranks through the co-angler division of the Wal-Mart FLW tour and, then, through the Bassmaster Top 150 tour with two second place finishes. Last season, he fished the Bassmaster Eastern Invitational Trail and was in-the-money two out of three tournaments.
A Florida native, Sabbides' experience spans 28 years - from catching bait for his father as a toddler, to guiding clients, to now becoming a strong tournament competitor.
Mark was introduced to competitive bass fishing while serving in San Diego as a hospital corpsman with the U.S. Navy. After completing his enlistment and serving in Desert Storm, he persued a dual career as a licensed saltwater guide and as an outdoor communicator and speaker. Now, he has hit ther B.A.S.S. trail full-time.
Sabbides, who resides in Springfield, Missouri, holds a degree in Nursing (RN) and has been an outdoor writer for Gulf Coast Angler Magazine since 1996. He has appeared on the ESPN and TNN networks and has been in-the-money five out of six Bassmaster Tournaments.
